Shopify to WordPress

Paste your store URL. Your theme's sections become editable blocks, products come across with their prices, SKUs and images, and blog articles and pages keep their addresses.

Before you start

  • Turn off the storefront password while we convert.
  • Paste the store's main address. A myshopify.com address works.

What stays on Shopify

  • Checkout does not come across. Your catalogue is ready to connect to WooCommerce if you want to keep selling, and we suggest it in the conversion.
  • Customer accounts, orders and apps stay in Shopify.

Shopify questions

Can I keep selling after moving from Shopify?

Yes, with WooCommerce. Your products arrive as a content type with prices, SKUs and images, ready to map onto WooCommerce. Checkout, payments and orders are set up there, not copied from Shopify.

Do product and collection URLs stay the same?

Product, blog and page URLs stay the same. Anything WordPress cannot match exactly gets a 301 redirect, so search rankings and old links carry over.

What about my Shopify apps?

Apps run on Shopify's servers and do not come across. Tell us in the chat what an app did and we will suggest the WordPress plugin that covers it.

Is converting free?

Yes. Converting, previewing and asking for changes cost nothing. You pay when you launch the site on hosting.

What about my domain and email?

You point your domain at your new server with two DNS records and we check them for you. Email stays wherever it is today because we never touch your MX records.
